Background:
Humppila Glass was founded in 1952 by brothers Jonni, Martti, and Olavi Helander, former glassblowers at Nuutajarvi. By the 1970s, under Rolf Alander’s ownership, Humppila became renowned for its innovative designs. Designers of this era included Pertti Santalahti, Kai Blomqvist, and Henrik Koivula.
