A fabulous 1970s armchair by Australian furniture maker Danish Deluxe, featuring its wonderfully bold original striped upholstery in chocolate brown, burnt orange, mustard gold and cream.
The chair features a beautifully constructed exposed timber frame with chunky squared legs and arms, paired with generously padded, button-tufted cushioning. The combination of warm timber and unmistakably 1970s striped upholstery gives this piece loads of retro character.
Presented in good original vintage condition, with signs of age and use consistent with its era. The timber has some burn marks to one side, believed to be from a candle, as shown in the photos, along with other minor age-related marks and wear.
The chair remains a fantastic statement piece and has been priced with its condition in mind.
